Early Intervention
Services for students under the age of three are typically delivered with a family-centered model. Instruction often occurs in the home, with special education staff, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists making home visits to work directly with children and to provide parents with strategies to facilitate child development.
Early intervention services are provided by school districts to families at no cost.
