    On behalf of the Board of Education, our staff, and myself, I’d like to welcome everyone to Fillmore Central. We strive to provide an outstanding educational system that you can be proud of. We are ready to serve you and your family.
    
    We invite and need the cooperation and involvement of our parents and communities to provide the best all around education for our students. So please stay involved in your children’s lives, support them in their interests, and encourage them to take on the challenges ahead. Our students deserve our continued support and guidance to help them be and do their best.
    
    I look forward to serving our communities as a part of our educational team at Fillmore Central. Fillmore Central has a legacy of strong cooperation and teamwork between families and school. Our faculty, staff, and administration are ready to serve you.

    Mr. Jim Peters
    My name is Jim Peters, and I am proud to serve as the elementary principal at Fillmore Central.
    My career has spanned many areas of education: 18 years teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade, two
    years as a behavior specialist, and now more than 10 years as an administrator. Having lived in
    Harmony most of my life, with all of my children attending Fillmore Central, this school is truly
    home for me.
    
    It is an honor to serve the families and staff of this amazing school. Each day I see countless
    examples of the phrase we live by at FC: “Work hard, have fun, and be kind.” This simple
    message guides our staff and students to be their best selves and creates opportunities both in and
    out of school.
    Thank you to our incredible students, our dedicated staff, and our supportive families. I feel
    blessed to work in a place where education is valued and our small-town school is embraced.

    Throughout the year please use the school calendar to keep track of the many athletic and fine art activities that are available to the public to cheer on the Fillmore Central athletes and to listen and watch the bands, choirs, and actors perform.

    WELCOME TO THE ALTERNATIVE LEARNING PROGRAM
    OUR MISSION
    
    Fillmore Central Alternative Learning Program (ALP) exists to provide students an opportunity to earn a high school diploma in a supportive, safe, and motivating environment that encourages self-motivated learning. We strive to prepare our students to be responsible citizens, objective thinkers, academic achievers, and life-long learners.
    
    PURPOSE
    
    Fillmore Central has continued to have students that falter during their 9^th – 12^th grade years. Continuous discussions with teachers, students, and parents, has prompted Fillmore Central into researching the opportunity of an Alternative Learning Program (ALP).
    
    Our goal is to continue to reach all of our students’ needs in a safe working environment that will create a life long learner with a high school diploma.
