Supporting the Arts with Haunts!
The Arts at Fillmore Central are supported by Monster Bash Inc., a non-profit organization founded strictly to support the Arts within Fillmore Central School District and its communitiesThe Monster Bash Haunted House was originally organized to provide families with financial help for their children to participate in Fillmore Central Choir and Band performance trips. This effort continues by providing opportunities for students and families to earn funds by assisting with the Haunted House as artists, construction workers, decorators, ticket-takers, ghoulish greeters, concession workers, and actors. Since its inception in 2012, Monster Bash has grown into a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has provided over $72,000 to the Arts programs at Fillmore Central. The main fundraising event for the organization continues to be the annual Monster Bash Haunted House. With new themes, layouts, and details each year, Monster Bash has been recognized as a top Halloween Attraction in the State of Minnesota!

As a Monster Bash PAL of the Arts member, your donation will help Monster Bash, Inc. support the Arts within the boundaries of the Fillmore Central School District. Funds raised will be distributed by the Monster Bash Board of Directors. All PAL memberships generated before March 31st will be credited to the 2018-2019 School Year. Members will be recognized in a poster at the Building as well as in programs at all Fillmore Central Arts events including: Plays, Art Shows, and Concerts.
The 2016 purchase of the Monster Bash building has been a major factor for the success of the past two Haunted Houses. That success has helped offset the costs for Music Department trips, while also allowing Monster Bash, Inc to begin providing funds for the Fillmore Central Arts and Theater/Drama departments. In the years to come, we hope that continued success of the Monster Bash, and support through the PAL program, will allow for greater contributions to the district and the communities!
We have done much to upgrade the building to make it safe for the students, their families, our community volunteers and our guests. But there is still much to do. During the first two years of operation, 50% of all PAL memberships will be returned directly to the arts programs. The remaining 50% will fund Monster Bash, Inc. projects. Projects include: building upgrades & maintenance, the Summer Bash Costume Ball and purchasing items likes props, paint, makeup, materials for the Haunted Houses!
