I know that during this time in our lives we may be feeling a wide range of emotions; from anxiety to fear, happy to sad, and a mixture of in between and up and down. These feelings are all normal to feel and it is important to talk about all of them. You can reach out to me, talk with a parent, guardian, family member or friend.
Parents please talk openly and honestly with your children if they have questions about what is going on in an age appropriate way. They will mirror the feelings that you are feeling and present, so it is important to stay calm and be mindful of what your children are hearing. I have listed my contact information and a resource below as well as in the quick links should you need them. Please take care of yourselves and your families during this time.
A link you can also use to share with your kids is https://youtu.be/
I have also added a direct link to a family exercise video that you can do together. Exercise can help calm the brain by reducing anxiety and negative moods, and give you and your child a motor break from learning. There are multiple different videos you can access on YouTube as well.
